My deck lid is munched. Tony Branda seems to have the best replacement, but by the time I buy it, ship it and have it worked to fit correctly, it would be at least $600.00. I found a guy that would fix mine for $800.00, fitted to the car. I like the idea of having original parts even if they have been repaired, but was wondering if I'm overlooking something. Any long term problems with repaired fiberglass I need to know about. What would you all do?

I kind of have the same problem. The area where the integrated nuts are on my deck lid has been ripped out.. on both sides..I've been toying with several different ideas on how to repair it. If anyone has any ideas I would be open to hear them
