C4 Vin Location

Here's where the VIN is located on a C4.

I was not aware that the vin # was on the transmission. There is a metal Id tag like the one on the engine. Marty MCA38812

My Garage
My automatic is in the same place also. 4 speed is on the bottom of the main case just where the tail house bolts. Automatic is very hard to see in car. Will need mirror or take shifter out and stuff small head through shifter hole!

Found you can use some Playdoh on VINs in remote areas then remove and read or snap some pictures of it. Did this on a Boss I inspected for a buyer a few weeks back
