Wink Saying of the Week, and other Famous Quotes

Well, since we have Friday's Joke, let's have some famous quotes:

"The one thing that unites all human beings, regardless of age, gender, religion, economic status, or ethnic background, is that deep down inside, we all believe that we are above-average drivers." - DAVE BARRY

... I thought a car-themed quote would be a fun quote to start off with ...

"Always do right. This will gratify some people, and astonish the rest." - Mark Twain

Well my saying isn't famous it's just my own.....

Some perfectly intelligent people get behind the wheel of a car and turn instantly stupid.

My GT/CS was my first car, still have it 43 years later. Paid $800. Featured in the May 1998 issue of Mustang Illustrated.

Another one of my own...... I'd rather ask a dumb question than make a dumb mistake.

Better to be thought a fool than open one's mouth and remove all doubt.

Wink Texas to English dictionary

The engine's running, but ain't nobody drivin' (not too smart);

Tighter than bark on a tree (stingy);

We've howdied, but we ain't shook yet (we've met, but haven't been formally introduced);

She's got tongue enough for ten rows of teeth (she's a talker);

This ain't my first rodeo (I've been around)
