New Deck Lids

Once we installed our new decklid, we felt we had a great fit. However, after the new seal is installed, the decklid rode high in almost all areas. At first glance, this was disappointing as we wanted our decklid to fit as nicely as it did before the seal.

Keep in mind that after the new seal is installed, it will ride high until seal has had a chance to settle in. You can still adjust the decklid both at the hinges (to pull down the front of the decklid) and at the latch (to pull down the back of the decklid). At over one year, our decklid is still not settled in as much as we would like.
