Steering box lube

What kind of lube is used on the steering box? I have the 16 to 1 with power assist. I have not been able to have anyone tell me so far what the heck to use..I know its dry...

Pretty sure it's normal 90wt gear lube but someone should confirm that.

Just grease

From the owners manual: :grin:

Lifetime Steering Gear Grease.

Alternative lubricant Lithium soap base No. 1 Grade Grease meeting Ford specification ESW-M1C87-A.

Take the above info to NAPA. They carry the rite stuff.
