got in today (Sunday) around 9:00 am. went over to the SEMA show, today and tomorrow is vendor setup days. not a bunch to see yet but I am sure tomorrow there will start to be a bunch of cool stuff to see.

Went over to the Overhaulin tent to watch the guys work. looks like they are doing some kind of Mopar, maybe a Challenger. they have a donor car at one end and all the macinery you can think of including their CNC machine and I think a paint booth. Chip Foose was there working on the passenger door. I think it is very cool to see him right in the middle doing whatever it takes to get the job done. This tells me he LOVES to do what he does. The new "token attractive female" was there and even got her to sign some kind of hat for me. Great to look at but knows nothing about cars, please bring back Courtney. I stayed around for about 30 minutes and will probably hang out for a while on Monday.

back down to the casino, more updates later.

Jason,
While you are there, check out the Bear- Hunter alignment Systems display. Ask for Tom Murphy. He is a member here and the guy that purchased my "S" code CS. He also owns a 67 coupe with a Holman Moody 429 SCJ engine. He is a great guy and a hell of a engine builder. I know you guys will hit it off. He is "one of us".

I agree with the bring back Courtney statement. I met her last summer at a car show in Boise, ID - she was great. I got an autographed picture of her, she signed it "California Specials Rock!".

Since the subject of Courtney Hanson has been raised, does anyone know what happened to her? She suddenly disappeared from "Overhaulin" and the last time I saw her in any media publication was several months back on the"Hot Rod" cover. Where did she go?
