Oh shoot. Iacocca? Iacocca?

Anyway, Steve Saleen has been signing his cars at my club's Roundup the last two years. He announced yesterday he won the Lee Iacocca award this year.

I have a friend that knows him pretty well. Says he is a good guy. He sold his company and it subsequently went bankrupt. They ended up selling off the assets. New owner has no legal liability to support existing warranties, and they won't. My understanding is that Steve said since my name is on these Mustangs, I will cover the warranties through my new company. He was under no obligation to do this. Appears to be a stand up guy.

That has been reported in a lot of papers and magazines.
I think that was a great thing for him to do. Got a lot of respect from me on that move. Not that, that is worth anything
