Just a short note about the head light switch , has anyone had problems with it heating up ,thus loosing you lights until it cools down. i have heard there was a few problem back then and would like to find out if any one else has had these problems. the reason that i inquire about this is ford had a bad problem with their ignition switches in the 90 s on some models causing a lot of vehicle fires. thanks terry......

The "problem" you might be referring to happens when you install halogen headlights instead of the standard ones. They draw more current and cause the breaker in the switch to trip. If you install two relays (one low beam, one high beam) in the circuit, using the headlight switch to turn them on and providing battery voltage to the lights, it should solve the problem.
