For reference: Just thought I'd share some on-line research on classic car insurance companies, specifically Hagerty and JC Taylor

General discussion of different companies

An article with some (marginally useful) charts comparing different classic car insurance companies

On Hagerty specifically. Note the definition of "stated value" vs "agreed value" (I was unaware of the difference). Checking JC Taylor website they also insure on agreed value.

Yelp on Hagerty (2 stars, which surprised me, but most posts to Yelp are from people who have problems)

Yelp on JC Taylor (3 stars but only one review for bad customer service, no claim so no claim issues noted)

Hagerty website reviews (hey, 4+ stars on their website vs 2 on Yelp... hmmm...)

The world stands aside to let anyone pass who knows where he is going.
