Well folks. i just got back from sacramento with my new car safe and sound, What a drive from sacramento to vancouver. 17 hours and three of that was trying to go through seatle during morning rush hour. As promised, photos of the new car in canada. This 68 fastback clone is done to the 9s in workmanship and quality of the parts the previous owner installed on this project. Now i know what 400 hp between your legs feels like. The previous owner installed a five speed tranmission and when your cruising down the hwy at 80 mph the motor is only showing 2100 RPM and i got 23 miles per gallon. Let me state that if my GT/CS had this new engine and transmission i still would have it, other than the parking problem for the winter. This clone fastback and my GT/CS is about the close to owning a shelby as i ever will. Ibought a set of 10 spoke shelby wheels for the car down there but cant buy center caps because of the fight between shelby and other people trying to sell stuff without copy write licence.Going to my co-workers house tomorrow to take some photos of my car and his new GT/CS (my old car) and will post some photos next week.he has be trying to log in on this web site but something is going wrong for him.One last word for the gang,I may own a fastback clone ,but i still love the GT/CS.. good luck to those who enterd the calendar contest.
