Guessing that it has a Canadian DSO, due to the lack of smog, and the 1967 air cleaner assembly without IMCO.

What's with all the Canadian GT/CSs coming up for sale these days? Is this happening for other collector cars as well?
Could it be because the US$ has strengthened vs the CA$ over the last year (up ~25%)?

That is the most unique scoop stripe and lettering I've ever seen.

What a nice car! Speaker location in the door may require a repair, but if it is the real deal, what a great project!

Are those snow tires on the rear, and is that rust in front of the wheel well?
If the owner drove the car in the winter it may be a rust bucket.

so, just got off thephone with owner......Wow! He just bought car from original owner in------ wait for it----- Calgary! its an original Calgary car-- spent its whole life here. Owner in his 80's now. It's a B6 DSO --- don't have my book here with me but I seem to recall only about 20-30 cars were sent here. It was sold out of Maclin Ford (which still exists)
It has the GT option group on it so all in all a pretty rare little gem.

Wish I had found it!!

No A/C

But you guys know I love the big blocks!!! And wanted a real GT

We bought it!!!!! Mike, Please enter John & Sheryl Volkman as owner on this one.

Pictures to come. It is a rare gem(like Stephen said) Everything is here (well except for rear seat belts) Wiring like new. Original motor (checked VIN on block) radiator, water pump ect. Radio works. Im just looking at everything, its like a time capsule, so fun. Only rust found at rear quarters & small amount behind front wheels, wheel wells are good. Floor pans, rails ect are great!!

Sheryl;
No A/C? Classic Auto Air sells an after market system that looks almost factory, and gets good reports. Bring it to NC, and I'll install it for you.

Check into whether or not it will require a CA DMV inspection since it is being imported from Canada to California. It is a smog delete car and even tho' it is pre '75 you are technically required to have whatever smog equipment would have been original to the car if registering in CA. If no inspection is required it is nothing to worry about

Thank you guys!! Im so excited. John and I have been crawling all over this car. I didnt find the build sheet tho.

Neil, You are so wonderful. I might bring 3 out to you for that A/C install!!!
Don, Ill let you know how DMV goes. We did the inspection through law enforcement, hopefully that will be good enough.
Arlie, we considered picking the car up, because shipping was a little challenging. But we ended up getting a good deal, 1k. So, we had it shipped and we are still flying up for the family reunion next month. 2nd shipper had a double enclosed car hauler, it was so long. So, we met them downtown for the pick up (since the seller said car would be fine to drive 5 miles) I was headed home, when after a 1/2 mile I ran out of fuel (nice, the guy who sold us the car couldn't even put 5 bucks in the tank) after getting help from a guy who drove by with a gas can (and John then getting more gas in the can for me) I made it home and it was over heating!! not much fluid in the radiator when we check the next am (and the radiator is original, probably needs to be re do right?) It was an adventure, but I still had a huge smile on my face! Good times.
I think Im going to name her "Gem" because Stephen and Rob!!

Here is the date code on block, VIN stamp, rear end tag, and floor pans.

Is that battery cable original? (Left side)
