For all you gearheads out there I thought I mention that "Eric the Car Guy" has been videoing a complete rebuilt/hotrodding of a 1979 Ford Fairmont (I know... WTH?!!?). He's beefing up the suspension, brakes, diff, engine... turning it into a real sleeper.

I think the videos are a pretty useful (and, actually, entertaining as well) resource for any "youtube mechanics" out there. For example, he did a really detailed rebuild of a differential a few months back and they are now doing the engine rebuild.

Here's a link to the Farimont playlist...

And a link to youtube channel - he's got lots of really good "how to" videos on there as well...

I had a 1978 Fairmont with the 6 cylinder. That thing smoked so bad, I think I killed most of the mosquitoes in Maine. Got me from point a to point b for a couple of years.
