I attended a local show put on here in our area by the Arthritis Foundation this past weekend and thought I'd share some information from that show. There was over 1600 cars at this event (Friday and Saturday) and I found it interesting that a local DJ who was covering this show made comment over the PA system during the show to the fact that there were 2 of the rarest Mustangs he had ever seen in attendance at this show -The 1964 Indy Pace Car and a 1968 GT/CS (mine). I have not to date had so many folks come by to look at the car and ask questions about it as I did at this show. It was truly a unique experience for me and one I won't soon forget. I managed to come home with two awards - Friday night I received a 6' trophy for the top 100 and Saturday received a 1st place trophy in the 67 - 68 Mustang Catagory. To say the least it makes me very proud to own one of these cars and proud to be a member of such a great group of folks as we have here on the GT/CS registery.

Congrats on a job well done in representing GT/CSs! You had an awesome opportunity to spread the word, especially after the DJ's promo ;).
Keep up the good work :).

I'll try posting it and see if it works. It now takes up one corner of the living room.

holy crap that is a big trophy. :eek:

You should have seen me trying to get it in the car to take it home. Thankfully my girlfriend had her car there and we folded down the back set and was able to slide it in that way. A lot of the folks wound up taking their's apart to get them in their cars. Don't think I could deal with too many of those. Would run out of room in the house real quick.

I agree,
It's tough when you have to find room for all your beautiful trophys.

I wonder if I'll have that problem some day ??? ;D ;D

Jason;
The only problem is were your at in Texas they'd be 12' trophy's instead of 6'. You'd have to have vaulted ceilings. Remember what they say, everything is bigger in Texas.

already thought ahead on this one. Bought a (Texas size) house with 18 foot entry way. Can't wait till next year Christmastime so I can get a 16 foot tree (I have always had a thing for big Xmas trees).

Looks like you'll need to install a trailer hitch to the CS--to haul the trophys home. That's the biggest trophy I've ever seen a Mustanger get! WOW!

Congrats!
