Highlights
1 of 251 High Country Special Mustangs produced in 1968

This rare 1968 Ford Mustang High Country Edition has been in the care of the amazing Wayne Schmeeckle Collection.

Built on June 17 and delivered to Granby, Colorado, this 1968 High Country Special presents in great condition with just 53,900 miles on the odometer.

A ground-up restoration was performed in 2008, and the car is documented with known ownership history since new, its owner card, warranty facts booklet, owner’s manual, previous registrations, Ford research-assistance letter and a Marti Report.

Powered by the C-code 289/195 HP 2-barrel V-8 mated to a floor-shifted 3-speed automatic transmission, it is sharply finished in code-A Raven Black paint with red stripes and a dark red interior, and it rides on BF Goodrich Silvertown bias-ply white-stripe tires on 14-inch painted steel wheels wearing Mustang center caps. Optioned with backup lights, tinted glass and an AM radio, this is an extremely rare Mustang special in outstanding condition
