1968 Brakes are really slowing down my progress on the HCS

+1 with what Marty said. Replace/rebuild master cylinder, calipers and wheel cylinders and new hoses. The proportioning valve should be OK once you run new fluid through it, then you can recenter it as Marty stated.

    . Triple "B's" Garage

Eric, these cars always seem to ride high in the front and squat in the rear. The rear suspension has been replaced. When I tear into the front suspension this winter, 1" lowering springs will be on the parts list!

    . Triple "B's" Garage

Picked up the beast today from Robs garage. It runs great and stops now! The new (correct) carb is working great and the detailing on the engine block looks much better. Going to take it out tomorrow and put her through the paces before the rain hits on Friday. Thanks for doing your magic...

    . Photo Your Winter Fun

Love the Hodaka Rob! I grew up on one of those. They were fast, my dad would not let me go out of first gear because he was afraid I would crash and burn. Needless to say ,,, I fried the motor trying to keep up with my friends.
