    2 more GT/CS`s For Sale, One is a 390

I have seen the Gold GT/CS and it is NOT a 390. When I talked to the place that is selling the car, he said it was a 289 car, and the 2bbl in the trunk is there because he switched the car over to a 4bbl. He has a Marti Report on the car. Overall it is an okay car, but is NOT worth $23,000.

    Nice R Code Mach 1

That is an extremely good deal if it wasn't painted Grabber Green. Out of all the colors that Ford made, that had to be the worst one of them all. I guess the unique history of the car makes up for it. It's not everyday that you see a Ford Marketing Car. An R Code is a good thing too. The only...

WNATED: 1968 Shelby GT-350 Project Car

It's time that I finally got myself a Shelby. I am looking for a REAL 1968 GT-350 Shelby. All I want is the body with as little rust as possible and wheels. I do not need a drivetrain. Options, color, and the transmission choice doesn't matter. As long as the Shelby has the tags on it, has a...

Are Asking Prices Going Up for GT/CS ?

I sold my GT/CS for $20,000. Even though it was an original C code, it had the 289 HiPo in it and it was a pretty early car from what I could tell. It was completely ground-up restored with a Candy Apple Red paint that was absolutely gorgeous. I have also seen some sell in in Oklahoma for about...

1968 Shelby GT500 Convt Project on eBay

I just got off the phone with the owner and he said that the car was sold in the low $80,000 range. You could buy some real nice Shelbys for that price, not a junker like this.

    Questions for the experts

It sounds like your car had the same exhaust that mine did. Mine had glasspacks on it. I can't remember how long they were, but they were located around the back seat. What a nice sound that exhaust system had.

Need opinions on a possible buy

Hi, I have an opportunity to buy a 1968 GTO. This car has been mechanically restored but the body and interior needs attention. The body has two small rust spots and the interior is fine except for one seat will need replacing. The Goat is powered by a 400 ci engine with a 4-speed in it. The...

This Hotwheels '68 Mustang may sell for more than your real one!

I personally am into the Hot Wheels Cars (I have a few cars myself, but none that are that much). I have never seen a car like that before. Since it's a prototype, it will definetly bring in big bucks and since it's the Mustang, I wouldn't be surprised if it brought $20,000-$25,000 for it.

    GT/CS In OKC Auction

I was checking at the next OKC auction and lo and behold, a GT/CS is entered. It appears to be a Sunlit Gold with saddle interior. It is auctioned off on a Friday and I am going to try to go up there to take a look at it. You can check it out at...

Anyone have the January 2002 issue of Mustang Monthly?

Hi, I recently purchaced a 1970 Mustang Mach 1. This car was the last Mustang produced at the Metchuen New Jersey Plant in 1970 and Mustang Monthly did an article on the car. It is the January 2002 issue. The article is entitled "In Search of Mustangs." If Anyone has the article, e-mail me at...

    Selling my GT/CS

Sorry that I haven't replied in awhile. I put the car on eBay with a reserve lower than what I advertised here. It also has pictures for you to look at. The address is: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4518252060&sspagename=ADME%3AB%3ALC%3AMT%3A1

    Marchal Fog Light Covers

I got a pair at JC Whitney and painted them black. Then, I got the "GT/CS" from the stripe on the sides and put it on the covers. It looks very sharp.

    Selling my GT/CS

PB gtcs: The car isn't in the gallery. It was originally Highland Green. I will post some pics right now. The interior was redone before I got the car. It is black standard interior. The previous owner installed two-tone black-red seats in the car. It looks really nice with the paint. The...

    Selling my GT/CS

I hate to do this, but I have to sell my beautiful GT/CS (VIN # 8R01C142513) to make room for my next vehicle, a Shelby. Since the California Specials are easy to duplicate, we have a Marti Report that states that this is a true California Special. This car was produced February 15th, which...

Could the "VIN TAG" have been switched?

I saw this car personally and it is no GT/CS. I live in OKC and attended the Tulsa Kruse Collector Car Auction in June and saw this car. I looked for the owner, but I had no luck. It was a nice looking coupe, but like it was previously mention, has "red flags" all over the place.

    Two GT/CSs for Sale

Scott, I couldn't help but noticing in one of the pictures that you have what appears to be a 1970 Mach 1/Boss 302. Is that car for sale?
