I'm using TCI 10 inch torque converter, they claim about 3000 rpm stall speed. I don't know if this correct. Over the years I have used Aamco rebuilt transmissions, Jackson racing transmission out of the Carolina's. Right now I'm putting in a TCI transmission from Jegs. I foot brake the car...- walkupg

My 68 runs 11.60 in the quarter at 117 mph. I use 26x8.5x15 mickey thompson slicks. C4 transmission with either 3.25 gears or 4.11, doesn't matter same et. The only changes are the length of time I'm in 1st gear before I shift out of first gear. I use tubes in my slicks with 14-16 psi...- walkupg
