2010 Mustang Rally @Sturgist, S.D.

Did anyone here get a chance to go to this? If so any pictures or videos to share. I had to work he week end as short of help and unable to attend. My husband is presently working in the Mitchall, S.D. area on I90 and got to see a few bunches of Mustangs going through, I wished I was that lucky.

Any Bowlers out there?

I've gone bowling 49 times since June 13 (out of 85 days), so i guess you could say bowling is a passion of mine. I've been keeping track with an excel spreadsheet since June 13, because I bought a new bowling ball that day. I've been bowling with a Storm-Virtual Energy 15lb. ball with a fingertip grip with inserts for all three fingers. I have bowled 167 games with an average of 191.04, 861 strikes (5.16avg per game). My high game out of the 167 is a 278 (got the first 9 strikes, left the 3,6 picked it up then threw a strike for the 278). My best series was 257, 222, 278=757 on July 1st with 28 strikes in three games.

I'm just wondering if there are any bowlers on this site?

Does anyone know of a T-Bird site like our HCS/CS site? I have to do some small repairs on Peggy's '57 bird. Shop manual no help. I need info on the glovebox & latch assembly.

You find the funniest things on eBay sometimes. Like this '67 coupe with an S code 390. A serious project for sure, but looks kind of interesting; a bare bones coupe ordered to race with basically no options and a 4 speed.

But then you get to the photo below. The seller explains, "The vin tag was cut off so the identity could not be stolen."

Ummmm, yeah right. That's what I do to deter thieves when I put a car in storage; pull off the rotor, disconnect the battery... and cut the VIN off for safe keeping. :rolleyes:

Tacoma/Seattle Visit

Just got back from Tacoma dropping off my son at college. Wish it could have been a few weeks earlier, would have loved being at the MCA show and BBQ at Rob's.

My wife and I were in town for about 4 days. Very busy shopping and getting him settled in the dorms. We did get some time to check out both Seattle and Tacoma.

I was very surprised by the number of classic and muscle cars I saw cruising around during my visit. I saw well over 20 cars, in a number of places.

Went to the Pike's Market area on Thursday and saw a few older (40's?) cars parked on the street. Driving down Payallup Ave, just east of 705 in Tacoma there were lots of cars parked and driving around. Also drove by Griot's on Saturday after they were closed and saw a bunch of cars driving on Union Ave.

I also saw at least 2 fliers for cars shows in Tacoma.

Very impressed. Other than going to car shows, It would take me months before I would see that many classic and muscle cars around my town. For the locals - is this normal?

I love Colorado, but the Northwest seems like a very nice place to live. Will probably be back in October.
