On my 390 CS the front end was sitting a little too high. I did not want to purchase a new set of springs and find out that they were too stiff. Sooooo, what we did is pull the springs out and cut off about 3/4 off of the top coil. It brings the front end down about 1 inch or maybe a little less. I have done this to my 68 CJ as well and now they both are juuuuust a little lower in the front than the rear. Also, my driveway is on a very slight incline towards the front of the car.

Thought I would pass along this tip.

It is kinda hard to tell in the photos of the before and after but in person from the side you can definately tell the difference.

Mine appears to be too high in the front and was curious what others have done. I think it makes it look meaner and more correct in my book.

On my 390 I lowered the front end by Lowering the the A-arms the same way the did it on the 65-66 Shelbys. If you have a Tony Branda catalog it will tell you how.
