Drove it today for the 1st time since installing the new 347 stroker motor, 5 speed tranny, front disk brakes, KYB shocks all around, front & rear swaybars, & 9" rear-end w/3.70 gears;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

This car has way more power than it needs. Not quite finished. It goes in for exhaust, subframe connectors, and traction bars next week. Then the interior to finish it off. I already re-covered the seats. They're ready to drop in.

No, I don't plan to drive any of the cars more than 2 or 3 times a week. I have an 03 Explorer Sport Trac for my daily driver.

I probably won't hang on to the Mach 1 for long. The other two I intend to keep.

Got the subframe connectors, traction bars, and exhaust done.

Just got her home. I'm in the home stretch now.

Looking very nice. One thing I would suggest and it may just be the flash of the camera but the grill would look much better if it was black behind it so as to highlight the grill and take away from the distraction of the cooler and stuff behind. Looks dang nice in my opinion, and I bet it's a ton of fun.

It's the flash of the camera and the fact that I was taking the pic as I squatted down level with the grill. You don't notice everything behind the grill unless you are at that level. I still have to complete the interior, have the side scoops installed, and pick out my wheel and tire combo. But you're right. it's a ton of fun ;D

I entered my convertible in the 4th round of the contest that Don won 2 car covers in. It won the Musclecar category. I found it very interesting that all four rounds had a Mustang winner in the Musclecar category.

Thanks, Don. I feel that my car is in very good company. And, as far as the Mopar guy goes, I'd put any of my Mustangs up against whatever the hell he was talking about. It has made such an impression on me that I can't even remember the name.

Looks like he left. I could tell since he did`nt bother to register, that he was`nt going to be around long. He had a lot of nerve though, I`ll give him that.

we need to eliminate the ability to not be registered and respond to threads or this kind of thing will happen more often. I know we are doing this for people who are from the old site, but I think it is time.

17" Coys with Nexen N300 tires. 235 45 in back and 225 45 in front. I got a great deal on them at the San Diego Swap Meet this weekend.
